The NSW government recently announced that they will rebate up to $1,500 for government fees and charges incurred in a small business.
Eligible businesses include sole traders, small businesses and not-for-profit organisations in NSW and must:
Have total Australian wages below $1.2m
Have an ABN registered in NSW or else have a physical premises located and operating in NSW
Be registered for GST
Have turnover of at least $75,000 per year
The fees allowable for rebate are ones which are due and paid from 1 March 2021 and include (but are not limited to):
Food and liquor licences
Tradesperson licences
Event fees
Outdoor seating fees
Vehicle registration for vehicles owned by the business and which have business use.

The good news is that you only need to apply for the rebate once, by setting up an account with service NSW, but you can submit multiple claims under the same account until the $1,500 limit is reached.
